Using this site

RaceRanks is a free-to-use results and ranking service covering races affiliated with UK Road Races and Lancaster Race Series. You're welcome to browse rankings, athlete histories, and club pages without creating an account.

Accuracy of results

We take reasonable care to ensure results and rankings are accurate, drawing directly from official race timing records. However, results are compiled from third-party timing systems and race organisers, and occasional errors (a mismatched name, an incorrect time, a data-entry mistake at the original race) can occur. If you spot an error in your own results, please let us know at steve@runpreston.com and we'll investigate and correct it where appropriate.

Excluded results

On rare occasions a race may be excluded from rankings or removed from display entirely — for example, where a course was found not to be accurately measured. We aim to be transparent about this where it affects a runner's own results.

No liability

RaceRanks is provided as an informational and community service. We do not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of information published on this site, including training decisions, qualification claims, or category eligibility for other events or organisations.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the site develops. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
